SMS Commands

SMS commands represent the various applications/features that are available to engage users via the zappatap platform. In order to greatly simplify user interaction, SMS Pages are deployed as described on the zapptap page.

A demo of the SMS service has been set-up (available only in India). The example below represents an interaction type:

Send tap new to 9845315868. You will get a zapp back. It will have this form:

myzapp poll 6 Symonds is not the same anymore a)yes b)no

In this zapp:
Myzapp is the creator (this is their alias)
The zapp type is Poll
6 is the zappcount and you will need it for replying and other commands
Poll Question is “Symonds is not the same anymore”
Poll Answer options are: “a)yes b)no”

How to reply/respond:
Hit the reply button on your phone.
Now enter “tap 6 a” or “tap 6 b” depending on your answer choice and Send. You are done. You will receive a success message via SMS.

You can also comment to a zapp:
Hit the reply button on your phone.
Now enter “tap comment 6 <your comment>” and then Send. You are done. (Ex: “tap comment 6 I dont care about Symo”)
